MHS GENESIS: The Wright-Patterson Medical Center will be implementing a new electronic health record on June 3, 2023. TRICARE beneficiaries should do the following in preparation for MHS GENESIS:
1. Update all contact information on DEERS
2. Create a DS Logon.
3. Review the features of the patient portal. The Patient Portal will replace TRICARE Online.
Lab Services: Reduce your wait time at the lab by scheduling an appointment. Call: (937) 522-2778, Select 1 then Option 1 then Option 5 OR Book your appointment ONLINE https://www.tricareonline.com/
Pharmacy Services: After receiving a new prescription from an on-base provider, try the Q-Anywhere Activation Process – text “Get in Line” to 877-909-2578 and follow the steps. For prescription refills or to activate a new prescription from an off-base provider call 937-656-1656 before making the drive to the Kittyhawk Pharmacy. As we get closer to the implementation of MHS GENESIS, we recommend that prescription refills get filled as early as possible to avoid longer than normal wait times.
COVID-19 Testing: Testing for the COVID-19 virus can be found at the Outpatient Clinic Entrance/MRI Entrance of the Medical Center. The test currently being used is the rapid fire test which is a combination test for COVID, Flu and RSV. Testing is still administered as a drive-thru service. Upon arrival, call 937-257-0511, and one of the team members will come to your car. Appointments are required for COVID-19 testing. They can be made by calling 937-257-SHOT or by using the TRICARE Online (TOL) portal. Hours are 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. on normal duty days (subject to change)
