Wright-Patterson Air Force Base is home to one of the largest medical treatment facilities in the Air Force, offering world-class care for service members, families, and eligible civilians.

Wright-Patterson Medical Center

The Wright-Patterson Medical Center (WPMC) provides a full spectrum of care including family medicine, dental, pediatrics, women’s health, mental health, pharmacy, and specialty services. Patients enrolled in TRICARE Prime are assigned to the facility for their primary care needs.

How to Enroll:
New active-duty members and their families can enroll in TRICARE at www.tricare.mil or by calling Humana Military at 1-800-444-5445. Once enrolled, you’ll be assigned a Primary Care Manager (PCM) at WPMC.

Civilian Health Benefits

Federal civilian employees at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base are eligible to enroll in the Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) Program. FEHB offers a wide range of health insurance plans, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
 
Enrollment typically occurs:
  • Within 60 days of a new hire date
  • During the annual Federal Benefits Open Season
  • Following a qualifying life event

Military & Family Life Counselors (MFLCs) are available across the installation to provide short-term, non-medical counseling for service members and families. These sessions are private and do not affect your military record.

  • Work stress and communication issues
