Here, you will find the latest updates on gate hours, closures, construction projects, delays, and any changes affecting base entry and exit points.

  • Traffic Update at Chidlaw and Spruce - 7 FEB 2025
    Traffic Pattern Change at Chidlaw Rd and Spruce Way
     
    To enhance traffic flow for Gate 12A, the intersection of Chidlaw Rd and Spruce Way will be permanently converted from a 4-way stop to a 2-way stop.
     
    What’s Changing?
     
    • Chidlaw Rd will no longer have stop signs.
    • Spruce Way will remain stop-controlled, with “CROSS TRAFFIC DOES NOT STOP” signs added below the existing stop signs.
    This is a permanent adjustment, distinct from the temporary, time-based changes at other gates, and is intended to reduce congestion and improve traffic efficiency.
     
    Drivers are urged to exercise EXTREME CAUTION as the community adapts to this new traffic pattern, especially in the first few days following implementation.
     
  • Gate 12A Update - 11 FEB 2025

    Gate 12A is currently being upgraded with lane indicator lights and automatic drop arms.  The upgrades will not shut down the gates, however, single lanes must be closed while work is underway.  The single lane closure will happen after 0900 to minimize impacts to morning traffic flow.

  • ROAD CLOSURE: Skeel Ave near Prairie Trace GC Clubhouse

    Road Closure for Skeel Ave. just east of the Prairie Trace Golf Course Parking lot on Thursday 6 March 2025 to accommodate crane operations to install the new pedestrian bridge providing access to Prairie Trace Golf Course.  Traffic will be re-routed through the adjacent parking lot as shown on slide.  The total closure time for this work will be approximately 1 hour in duration.  See attached slide for location.
