The Office of Public Affairs is Wright-Patt's direct link to neighboring communities and the news media.  Our mission is to tell the Air Force story, build public trust and support, enhance Airmen morale and readiness.  Public Affairs contributes to global influence and deterrence by releasing timely, accurate information on Air Force people, activities and capabilities.
tabCurrent Operations - PAO - Civic Outreach
The Current Operations Division division serves as the liaison between Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and neighboring Miami Valley communities. The division also manages both the Wright-Patterson speaker's bureau and the base visit program.

Base SpeakersSpeaker's Bureau: If you are looking for a Wright-Patterson Airman or civilian employee to address your group at a community event, we can help. Our speakers can talk about a variety of Air Force topics, ranging from Wright-Patterson's history to our diverse missions.

A minimum of 30 days notice is normally required for speakers, and we reserve the right to cancel requests due to mission requirements in support of real world events. To request a speaker, complete a speakers request form and email it to 88abw.pa@us.af.mil. Note that submission of a request does not guarantee a speaker until you receive a confirmation from us.  Please provide a backup in case a speaker is not found.

Base Visits:  Public Affairs does offer a very limited number of tours for civic organizations.  To request a visit, contact the Current Operations Division at (937) 522-3252.
