The Civic Outreach division serves as the liaison between Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and neighboring Miami Valley communities. The division also manages both the Wright-Patterson speaker's bureau and the base visit program.
Speaker's Bureau: If you are looking for a Wright-Patterson Airman or civilian employee to address your group at a community event, we can help. Our speakers can talk about a variety of Air Force topics, ranging from Wright-Patterson's history to our diverse missions.
A minimum of 30 days notice is normally required for speakers, and we reserve the right to cancel requests due to mission requirements in support of real world events. To request a speaker, contact the Outreach Division at (937) 522-3519 or complete a speaker request form and fax to (937) 522-3500 or email the form to the email address located on the bottom of the form. Note that submission of a request does not guarantee a speaker until you receive a confirmation from us. Please provide a backup in case a speaker is not found.
Base Visits: We offer assistance to ROTC, Junior ROTC and Civil Air Patrol groups planning to visit Wright-Patterson. A minimum of 30 days notice is required for all visits. A written request is required to schedule a visit.
To request a visit, contact the Outreach Division at (937) 522-3519 or complete a visit request form and fax to it (937) 522-3500 or email the form to the email address located on the bottom of the form.
