The mission of Wright-Path University is to provide Team Wright-Patterson Mission Partners professional development through multiple methods of delivery to cultivate empowered, innovative, and intellectually agile Total Force Airmen and Guardians.
To obtain a WPU-Level I members must achieve a total of 10 Credits. Credits are achieved by accomplishing any combination of professional development opportunities afforded at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base or online programs through Air Force Digital University, Joint Knowledge Online, or other entities approved on a case by case basis by the Installation Development Advisor.
If the course does not have a completion certificate please provide screenshots or additional details for validation.
To obtain a WPU-Level II members must achieve a total of 15 credits, counting the 10 achieved when completing WPU-Level I. Credits are achieved by accomplishing any combination of professional development opportunities afforded at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base or online programs through Air Force Digital University, Joint Knowledge Online, or other entities approved on a case by case basis by the Installation Development Advisor.

To obtain a WPU-Level III members must achieve a total of 25 credits, counting the 15 achieved when completing WPU-Level I, and II. Credits are achieved by accomplishing any combination of professional development opportunities afforded at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base or online programs through Air Force Digital University, Joint Knowledge Online, or other entities approved on a case by case basis by the Installation Development Advisor.
To obtain a WPU-Masters members must achieve a total of 40 credits, counting the 25 achieved when completing WPU-Level I, II, and III, and members must have completed a CCAF or Associates Degree. Credits are achieved by accomplishing any combination of professional development opportunities afforded at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base or online programs through Air Force Digital University, Joint Knowledge Online, or other entities approved on a case by case basis by the Installation Development Advisor.
The Airmen Professional Enhancement Seminar (APES) is designed to augment, not replace, information taught in basic military training, technical training, ancillary training, job experience, The Enlisted Force Structure, A Profession of Arms: Our Core Values, and The Joint Team.
Wright-Patt Leadership Enhancement and Development Seminar (LEADS) is a four-day course for enhancing effective communication, skillful interpersonal interaction and emotional intelligence in the military environment. This small-group intensive seminar is open to all new supervisors: SrA (who have completed ALS), SSgts, and Civilian Supervisors. This seminar uses an "active learning" format that emphasizes discussion among students and minimizes lecture. Members will enhance themselves in leadership, resilience, taking care of people, building cohesive teams, and administrative supervisory requirements. The SSgt NCO Professional Enhancement Seminar is designed to augment, not replace, information taught in basic military training, technical training, ancillary training, airman leadership school, job experience, The Enlisted Force Structure, A Profession of Arms: Our Core Values, and The Joint Team. It will invoke dialogue, increase members self-awareness, soft skills, technical NCO skills, leadership ability, and it also provides networking opportunities!

The SNCOPES is designed to provide Master Sergeants with an in-depth view of increased leadership and managerial responsibilities with a focus on the CMSAF’s priorities of People, Readiness, and Culture. Additionally, priority is placed on administrative requirements, resource management, and National Strategy. It aims to arm SNCOs with tools and training that will compliment individual strengths while growing leadership capabilities.
The SEL Course is designed to provide selected or vectored MSgts and SMSgts with an in-depth view of increased leadership and managerial responsibilities with a focus on the CMSAF’s priorities of People, Readiness, and Culture. It aims to arm new Squadron SELs with tools and training that will compliment Squadron Commanders while strengthening leadership at the tactical and operational levels. It also provides key networking opportunities
The CMSgt Professional Development Course is designed to provide CMSgt Selects with an in-depth view of increased leadership and managerial responsibilities with. It aims to arm new CMSgt's with tools and training that will compliment Senior Leaders while strengthening leadership at the operational and strategic levels.
FTOC is a three-day course designed to develop CGO leadership competencies and mission capabilities by providing a learning experience that develops job skills and broadens their knowledge and understanding of the structure and role of the enlisted and civilian workforce and their place and expectations within that group dynamic.

The Development Advisor acts as the principal advisor to CCs and supervisors on retention issues. The program is designed to welcome and educate new FTA to the local base and assist supervisors when talking to subordinates about the benefits of Air and Space Force careers. Enlisted and Officer enhancement courses are conducted for CGOs, SNCOs, NCOs, and Airmen/Guardians and Informed Decision briefings for the first- and second-term Airmen/Guardians. The DA also assists CCs and supervisors in career counseling and conducts advertising and publicity programs.
Senior Master Sergeant Stephanie Zengerle is the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Development Advisor. She was raised in Pueblo, Colorado, and enlisted in the Air Force in June 2002. Upon graduation from the All-Source Intelligence Analyst Technical Training school in February 2003, her first duty station was Langley Air Force Base, VA where she spent four years in direct support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom from the Distributed Common Ground System-One. Some of her other assignments included bases in Illinois, New Mexico, Texas, and now Ohio. During her Air Force career, she has completed deployments in the following locations: Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kenya.
