System upgrade to affect DBIDs registration

9/23/2011 - WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB, Ohio -- Wright-Patterson Air Force Base registration for the Defense Biometric Identification System will temporarily halt the month of October to enable system upgrades. Mobile registration that were scheduled after Oct. 1 will be canceled due to the system upgrade.
 
This includes registration that had been planned during Retiree Appreciation Day on Oct. 28.

Additionally DBIDS registration at Pass and Registration, Bldg 286, Area A will be temporarily closed. DBIDS registration will re-start Nov. 1. After all upgrades have been completed, registration will be conducted at all installation gates.
