8/10/2011 - Wright-Patterson Air Force Base firefighters perform technical decontamination on a first responder wearing a Level-A hazardous materials suit during a base exercise Aug. 4, 2011. The scenario, one of several played out during the week, included suspected release of a toxic substance following an explosion at the Jarvis Gymnasium. First responders included base security forces, firefighters, explosive ordnance disposal, medical and bioenvironmental engineering specialized teams who performed tasks under the watchful eyes of exercise evaluators.
