Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month Festival on tap

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, and this year's theme is "Advancing leaders through innovation." The 88th Air Base Wing's Special Observance Committee for AAPI will host a free festival May 30 from noon to 3 p.m. at Jarvis Fitness Center on Area A. It will feature Asian food samplings, cultural events, resource booths and a bounce house. In line with this year's theme, the event will pay tribute to the generations of Asian American and Pacific Islanders who enriched the nation's history and continue to be pivotal in its success. 2024 Norwegian Foot March

Col. Sean Brazel, 88th Mission Support Group commander, and Maj. Arild Stangenes, the Air Force Security Assistance Center’s Norwegian foreign liaison officer, welcomed more than 200 military members, veterans and dependents to this year's Norwegian Foot March on April 6 at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. AFIT Engineers Week 2024

More than 300 students from local middle and high schools saw a few ways the Air Force uses engineering power to meet the nation's needs during the Air Force Institute of Technology's Engineers Week at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
