Senior Airman Michael Mannozzi received Air Force Marathon medal
Senior Airman Michael Mannozzi, Air Force WCAP member, will be competing in the Olympic sport of racewalking. Mannozzi was selected as the Air Force Male Athlete of the Year in 2020 while he was an Airman 1st Class working in Religious Affairs at the 88th Air Base Wing Chaplain’s Office at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. Mannozzi has been training in California, but has participated in various events to prepare and qualify for a chance to represent Team USA at the 2024 Summer Olympics. He competed in the Air Force Marathon in September 2022 and was awarded his medal by the 88th Air Base Wing Chaplain, Col. Kim Bowen. (Courtesy photo)
