Results:
- The lab ships out all COVID-19 tests to the Area B lab at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mon. through Sat., any tests accomplished after 1:30 p.m. will be sent out for testing the following day.
- Results:
- Positive COVID-19 labs: Patients will be notified the same day the provider receives results
- Negative COVID-19 results: Patients can expect a phone call from the PCM team within 6 business days
- Other labs obtained at the CST are subject to the MDG laboratory team processing and vary in length of reporting time. PCMs are notified within 1 hour of any abnormal test results, and patients are notified shortly thereafter.
- Electronic communication:
- Send a MiCare/Relay Health/ Secure Message to your PCM team requesting results
- Log-in to TricareOnline Patient Portal à Health Record à Laboratory Results (left side bar)
- Please note there is a known error with the COVID-19 lab name, and all COVID-19 tests performed at WPMC are PCR and not antibody tests, this is a Tricare error, and we have no timeline for corrections.
- Due to the large volume of calls to the ATC phone line, the primary care clinics request patients refrain from calling the ATC line for results, until 7 business days after accomplishing testing, as it causes further delays in delivering results.
Other Testing Locations:
Any patients without a documented need for testing can obtain testing off-base at any number of locations. Please visit the Ohio Department of Health website for locations, to include free pop-up testing locations, dates and times (more added frequently).
