Several Wing Staff Agencies and two medical squadrons – the 445th Aerospace Medicine Squadron and the 445th Aeromedical Staging Squadron – fall directly under the 445th Airlift Wing.

The 445th AMDS provides medical, dental, optometry, flight medicine, outpatient and other medical program administrative services to keep Airmen world-wide qualified.

The ASTS mans contingency aeromedical staging facilities located at major air hubs near medical facilities and supports the movement of patients from an area of responsibility.

The 445th Operations Group is comprised of three squadrons –  the 89th Airlift Squadron, the 445th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron and the 445th Operations Support Squadron.

The 89th AS delivers personnel and cargo anywhere in the world and conducts aeromedical and airlift missions for distinguished visitors.

The 445th AES provides in-flight medical care aboard mission directed aircraft. Teams carry all necessary equipment to turn the aircraft into a flying ambulance.

The 445th OSS schedules C-17 ops; manages flying hours; and provides training and support to include water survival, life support equipment, combat tactics, crew communications and intelligence.

The 445th Maintenance Group is comprised of two squadrons – the 445th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and the 445th Maintenance Squadron.

The 445th AMXS provides C-17A aircraft generation, launch, recovery and flight line maintenance.
 

The 445th MXS performs back shop and flightline structural, avionic, hydraulic, electrical, environmental, survival and fuels maintenance.

The 445th Mission Support Group is comprised of five squadrons – the 87th Aerial Port Squadron, the 445th Force Support Squadron, the 445th Civil Engineer Squadron, the 445th Logistics Readiness Squadron and the 445th Security Forces Squadron.

The 87th APS provides cargo processing, aircraft loading and unloading, mobility functions, air terminal ops transportation control, and air departure arrival control group operations.

The 445th CES provides facility contract management, infrastructure and facility consultation services, fire protection, and emergency management.

The 445th FSS provides food service, lodging, mortuary affairs, fitness, recreation, field exchange, family support, personnel, education and training, Knowledge Management, Honor Guard and communications support. Click the highlighted text for more information.

The 445th LRS tracks deployed Airmen; manages wing’s supply requirements and aircraft parts; provides petroleum, oils and lubricants; support and transportation; and vehicle maintenance support.

The 445th SFS secures Air Force weapons systems; defends Air Force installations; and protects personnel, equipment and facilities.
