Air University DET 1 Change of Command

Lt. Col. Michael Bowers is embraced by Col. Christopher Rondeau during the change of command ceremony for Air University, Detachment 1, at the Air Force Institute of Technology on July 9, 2025. Lt. Gen. Andrea D. Tullos, Commander and President of Air University, presided over the event. As commander, Lt. Col. Bowers is responsible for the good order and discipline of approximately 1,800 active-duty faculty, staff, and students.
