Air Force Marathon achieves silver for conservation efforts
Thirty-six best practices to minimize waste and improve conservation were executed at this year’s Air Force Marathon Sept. 19-21 and were recognized by the Council for Responsible Sport awarding them the silver level certification. One of those practices recognized was the use of ‘Water Monsters’ to serve in bulk, replacing single-use plastic water bottles. (U.S. Air Force photo by R.J. Oriez)
