Wounded Warrior visits USAFSAM
Marine Corps Staff Sgt. (Ret.) Daniel Gilyeat, who lost his left leg in an explosion in July 2005 when his Up Armored Humvee ran over a double-stacked anti-tank mine in Iraq, greets Tech. Sgt. Donald Ennis Jr., NCOIC of the Aeromedical Evacuation Course at the United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine. Ennis provided a coin to Gilyeat on behalf of the En Route Care Training Department as they toured one of the C-130 trainers in USAFSAM’s High Bay. Gilyeat was visiting USAFSAM to speak to students at the Aerospace Medicine Primary course March 4. (U.S. Air Force photo/Richard Eldridge)
