Handheld Electronic Audio Recording System (HEARS)
An Airman carries radios that include an interface technology known as the handheld electronic audio recording system (HEARS). The HEARS was developed by the Air Force Research Laboratory 711th Human Performance Wing to provide mission recording capabilities in the field.
