APKWS fielding team launches new laser-guided rocket capability for warfighter
An F-16 from the Arizona Air National Guard Air Reserve Test Center prepares to fire M151 warhead rounds integrated with the Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System II over the Eglin Air Force Base range in July. The system turns existing Hydra 70 unguided rockets into precision guided munitions through the addition of a laser guidance kit. The Arizona Air National Guard Air Reserve Test Center worked with the 96th Test Wing community on the tests. (Courtesy Photo)
