Tandem Bikes Bringing Inspiration
Capt. Eric Miller, a graduate from the United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine Flight Nurse and Aeromedical Evacuation Technician Course, Class 2016D, began the Rush Miller Foundation in 2001 to identify blind or visually impaired children who could enjoy the benefits of their first bike as a blind or severely visually impaired child. Miller was inspired to begin the foundation by his son Garrett, who at the age of five, developed a malignant brain tumor that left Garrett visually impaired. (U.S. Air Force photo/Bryan Ripple)
