Prof. Kenny Breur, Engineering Department, Brown University, shows one of his graduate students how to adjust a simulated bat wing for testing in the wind tunnel. Breur studies the fluid motion of how bats fly in nature so his research team can apply it to designing human engineered vehicles. Researchers at the Air Force Research Laboratory have been working on high fidelity simulations of flexible wings in collaboration with the wind tunnel work being conducted at Brown University.
