'Consumer Warrior' Clark Howard participates in USAF Marathon
Staff Sgt. Chad Tanner gives syndicated radio personality and consumer advocate Clark Howard a tour of the Air Force 'X-1' Mustang, Sept. 18, 2009 at Wright State University. The X-1 is a modified Ford Mustang with a jet cockpit that includes a single-driver ejection seat in the center of the vehicle, short shifter, flight stick and advanced instrumentation panel. The car was in town to support recruiting efforts during the U.S. Air Force Marathon. Howard ran the marathon's 5K race and met with Airmen and their families, answering questions about personal finance and today's economy. Tanner is with the 338th Recruiting Squadron at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. (Air Force photo/Ted Theopolos)
