The 445th Airlift Wing at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, received its first C-17 Globemaster III Jan. 21, 2011. The aircraft is on loan from Joint Base Charleston, S.C. A maintenance field training team from Air Education and Training Command will begin training the wing's maintenance personnel on this aircraft.
