Human Performance Wing researchers take up the SWORD to assist warfighters and pararescuers
Pararescue jumpers (PJs) from the 123 Special Tactics Squadron Air National Guard Unit, Louisville, Ky. staged a rescue demonstration for researchers at the 711th Human Performance Wing, Human Effectiveness Directorate (711 HPW/RH) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The 711 HPW/RH is transitioning to the Specialized Warfighter Operations Research and Development (SWORD) program, and were learning about PJs in order to provide technology to help them perform their work more efficiently.
