Firefighter Dorian Poling, 788th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department, hoses down the wall and ceiling of a room that had been on fire in Building 18, Area B, July 18, 2024, at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The construction of the walls, timbers sandwiched between steel plates and cement blocks, made it difficult to completely extinguish the embers and caused the fire to reignite the next morning.
