Live museum performance will depict female aviation pioneer’s life
Bessie Coleman was the first African American to earn a pilot's license. Her life will be told via a live performance March 14 at 6:30 p.m. as part of the Air Force Museum Foundation’s Living History Series. Tickets are on sale now for the “Bessie Coleman, Aviation Pioneer” portrayal, which will take place at the Air Force Museum Theatre, located inside the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, 1100 Spaatz St., Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Tickets for the event are $8 for foundation members and $10 for non-members. Doors open at 6 p.m.
