E-9 promotion party set for Nov. 15

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- Base officials are extending an open invitation to Team Wright-Patterson to attend the 2013 chief master sergeant promotion party Nov. 15.

The event will begin at 3 p.m. in the Wright-Patt Club. Free food, beverages and entertainment will be available to attendees.

The E-9 promotion list officially will be released Nov. 14.

According to Chief Master Sgt. Charles Hoffman, 88 Air Base Wing command chief, the party will be a high-energy event.

"It's a great opportunity to show our support to those selected for promotion to the highest Air Force enlisted rank," Hoffman said. "It's a momentous occasion and we hope to have a standing room only crowd to join in congratulating Wright-Patt's newest chiefs!"
