Chief stripes await seven WPAFB selectees

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- Holiday wishes came early for seven senior master sergeants on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base who were officially notified of their selection for promotion to chief master sergeant Nov. 14. Those selected include:

Chad Nixon, Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command Logistics Directorate
Anna Parker, USAFSAM
Damion Peterson, Headquarters AFMC
Michelle Rootes, 88 Aerospace Medical Squadron
John Warehime, NASIC

Air Force officials selected 400 of 2,023 eligible Senior Master Sergeants for promotion to chief master sergeant for a selection rate of 19.77 percent.
