Wright-Patterson Air Force Base honors its best

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- Nominees, family members and representatives from multiple base organizations gathered at the Wright-Patt Club March 7 for the 2013 Team Wright-Patterson awards banquet.

There were nine award categories for Airmen and civilian employees who were recognized for their hard work and excellence.

Subsequent 2013 winners announced during the event are:
Airman of the Year - Senior Airman Noah Rivers, National Air and Space Intelligence Center
NCO of the Year - Staff Sgt. David Phillips, Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command
Senior NCO of the Year - Master Sgt. Elgin Burton, NASIC
First Sergeant of the Year - Master Sgt. Christienne Ruth, 88 Air Base Wing
Company Grade Officer of the Year - Capt. Jameson Locklear, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center
Honor Guard Member of the Year - Staff Sgt. Brandon Spence, 445 Airlift Wing
Civilian Category I - Louise Fenwick, 88 Medical Group
Civilian Category II - Sean Young, Air Force Research Laboratory
Civilian Category III - Ryan Justice, AFRL
