Change of Command: Buses provided to ceremony at AF Museum July 17

The 88 Air Base Wing change of command ceremony is scheduled for July 17 at 10 a.m. at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force.

Col. John Devillier, currently the Air Force Mortuary Affairs Operations commander at Dover AFB, Del., will succeed Col. Cassie Barlow, who is retiring from the Air Force after a 26-year career. She has served as 88 ABW commander since July 12, 2012. Lt. Gen. C. D. Moore II, commander of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, will preside over the ceremony.
The following bus schedule will be observed for the 88 ABW change of command ceremony:

Pickup times and locations

Area A
8:15-8:30 a.m. - Formation participants, tennis court parking lot
9:15 a.m. - Ceremony attendees, tennis court parking lot

Area B
9:10 a.m. - Ceremony attendees, Bldg. 676
9:20 a.m. - Ceremony attendees, Bldg. 14

Return drop-off procedures

Buses will be positioned in the museum parking lot and marked for Area A or Area B.
Area A buses will return to the tennis court parking lot.
Area B buses will drop off people at same two buildings from where they were picked up.
Last buses will depart the museum parking lot 30 minutes following the conclusion of the ceremony.
