Veterans Career Fair scheduled at Hope Hotel Published July 11, 2014 By Contributed story WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Oh. -- Military Veterans Resource Center invites veterans looking for a new career to attend a free Veterans Career Fair on July 18. This special career fair will feature more than 40 veteran-friendly employers ready to hire. The event will take place on the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base at the Hope Hotel & Richard C. Holbrooke Conference Center at 10823 Chidlaw Road and will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Veterans interested in attending the Veterans Career Fair should register by contacting career specialist Kelley Koons at 937-329-9559 or at kelley.koons@milvetsrc.org. This career fair is designed for veterans and active-duty personnel searching for employment or going through a career transition. All participants should come dressed to interview and prepared to speak with employers and companies who are ready to hire on the spot. Veterans should bring copies of their resume to pass out to employers. Military Veterans Resource Center is a nonprofit organization that provides personalized career services to veterans who served honorably. MVRC works with veterans one-on-one to identify the barriers that affect their employability and helps them access the resources to overcome those barriers. MVRC is based in Columbus and operates six centers throughout the state of Ohio.
