Devillier takes command of wing Published July 18, 2014 By 88th Air Base Wing Public Affairs WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- Col. John Devillier succeeded Col. Cassie Barlow as commander of the 88th Air Base Wing during a change of command ceremony at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force July 17. During the ceremony, Lt. Gen. C.D. Moore II, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center commander and the ceremony's presiding official, lauded the accomplishments of the "Mighty 88th", welcomed Devillier to Team Wright-Patt and outlined Devillier's successful track record. Devillier expressed his excitement for commanding the 88 ABW. "Becoming a wing commander is an extremely high honor, but especially at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base because so much of the work you do here has a direct impact on the battlefield," Devillier said. "I'm eager to learn about the important work done by our mission partners and ways the wing can contribute to their success."
