The Information Directorate Computing and Communication Division (RIT) connected their Contested Tactical Net (CONEMP) Stockbridge site and their High Performance Computing (HPC) facility. This capability allows high-speed 5 Giga-bits per second (Gb/s) RF links to transfer data and perform real-time processing on the HPC system. The HPC computers can calculate hundreds of trillions of operations per second, and distribute the information over 10/40 Gb/s Ethernet high-performance network switches. Processing the information and performing complex analytics in real time will allow for more efficient and effective experiments in the RF spectrum.

The next step is to provide a gateway and guardian to allow the C4ISR data/information to flow across the Defense Research Engineering Network (DREN) to other Department of Defense sites.
