Retirees now granted access to Pitsenbarger Dining Facility Published July 25, 2014 By Contributed story WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Oh. -- The Pitsenbarger Dining Facility, Kittyhawk Center, is expanding access to retirees on all federal holidays, the Air Force's birthday on Sept. 18 and weekends. Installation commanders throughout the Air Force have provided the opportunity for retirees to use the enlisted dining facility for specific occasions. Traditionally Wright-Patterson offers retirees access to Pitsenbarger Dining Facility during Christmas, Thanksgiving, Veterans Day and the Air Force's birthday. The dining facility is staffed primarily for enlisted Airmen, particularly those on a meal card and living in the dorms, as well as TDY military members.
