After a one-year hiatus due to Systems Go's deployment to the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, the U.S. Air Force Band of Flight will again present a free holiday concert at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force on Dec. 6 at 7: 30 p.m. with doors set to open at 6:30 p.m.

The theme of this year's concert is "The Gift of Family."

Video clips from deployed service members will be shared throughout the concert and will include messages to family members back home about their favorite family memories of the holidays.

This year's concert will feature the Air Force Band of Flight, Systems Go and Wright Brass.

The Band of Flight's special guest artists this year are 10 members from the American Military Spouses Choir. The American Military Spouses Choir finished as semifinalists in season 8 of "America's Got Talent" and have shared the stage with such artists as David Foster, Chaka Khan and Chris Botti.

The concert includes vocal selections, a children's portion, and a sing-a-long.

Musical selections will include a blend of old and new, including holiday songs by Leroy Anderson, Harry Connick Jr., The Carpenters, Mariah Carey and other Christmas favorites.

Tickets for this concert will be available Nov. 6 at 9 a.m.

Details regarding tickets can be found at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force concert events line at 937-255-5924 or www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/news&events/ concerts.asp.

If all the tickets have been distributed, people may still be able to attend by arriving by 7:15 p.m. the night of the concert, at which time they will be seated in any open seat available.
