Officer career mentoring event planned at AFIT

The Wright-Patterson Air Force Base 6X Development Team will host a career mentoring event Nov. 13 and on Nov. 21 at the Air Force Institute of Technology's (AFIT) Kennedy Hall.

The event is aimed at 61/ 62 /63 officers and their supervisors to learn more about 6X military career advancement. Topics will include, but will not be limited to, career/ assignment vectoring, Development Education Boards, and Material Leader and Squadron Commander Boards. The event will feature a panel discussion with a question-and-answer session immediately following.

On Nov. 13 the panel will include Gen. Eric Fick, Col. Terri Quick and Col. Chris Coombs from Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) and Col. Michael Hastriter of AFIT.

On Nov. 21 the panel will include Quick, Coombs and Hastriter as well as Col. Michael Meyer AFLCMC.

Registration is not required to attend the discussions. Sessions on Nov. 13 and Nov. 21 begin at 9 a.m. and conclude around 11 a.m.
