The Air Force Band of Flight will again present a free holiday concert at the Dayton Masonic Center on Dec. 13. This concert will be one show only at 2 p.m., with doors set to open at 1 p.m.

This year's concert will mark the 27th year in which the Dayton Masonic Center has hosted the Air Force Band of Flight's musical gift to the Miami   Valley community. The Dayton Masonic Center was completed and dedicated in 1928 and is at 525 W. Riverview Ave. in Dayton on the west bank of the Great Miami River overlooking downtown Dayton.

Hosted by Lt. Gen. John Thompson, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center commander, this year's concert features the theme, "The Gift of Family." Video clips from deployed service members will be shared throughout the concert and will include messages to family members back home about their favorite family memories of the holidays.

This year's concert   will include the Air Force Band of Flight, Systems Go and Wright Brass. The program will include vocal selections, a children's portion, and a sing-a-long. Musical selections will be a blend of old and new, including holiday songs by Leroy Anderson, Harry Connick Jr., The Carpenters, Christina Aguilera and other Christmas favorites.

Tickets for this concert will be available beginning Nov. 17. Details regarding tickets can be found at the Dayton Masonic Center website,  themasonic.org/events/  , and  www.bandofflight.af.mil/events/   or by calling 224-9795.
