In Training Contest Begins Published March 31, 2015 By USAF Marathon Office WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- Register for the Air Force Marathon by May 1 and you could win a special In Training Prize Package. "We're going to do this contest a little differently this year," said Robert Aguiar, Air Force Marathon Race Director. "We're going to engage our runners on social media and reward them for engaging with us." In order to be entered in the contest, runners must meet the following simple criteria: 1. Register for the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K or 5K race 2. Like the Air Force Marathon on Facebook (www.facebook.com/AirForceMarathon) or Follow the Air Force marathon on Twitter (@AFMarathon) 3. Share the special In Training graphic on their Facebook page or re-tweet it on Twitter. The graphic must be shared directly from the Air Force Marathon Facebook page or re-tweeted directly from the @AFMarathon so that it can be properly tracked. The contest starts April 1, 2015. Runners who have already registered for the Air Force Marathon can enter by completing the social media requirements. Winner of the In Training Prize Package will receive: · 1 In Training Shirt · 1 Pro Package to include: o 1 Lot B Parking Pass o 1 Breakfast of Champions Ticket o 1 VIP wristband granting access to the VIP Tent on Race Day The 19th annual race, which takes place on September 19, 2015, includes a full marathon, a half mara-thon and a 10K race. A 5K race, hosted by Wright State University, will take place on Friday evening, September 18. To Enter Runners Must Meet the requirements described above. No purchase is necessary to win.
