New Wing command chief named

Chief Master Sgt. Lisa Arnold, currently the superintendent for the 88th Mission Support Group, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, has been selected as the 88th Air Base Wing command chief. Arnold will replace Chief Master Sgt. Charles Hoffman who has been selected for reassignment as command chief at Kadena Air Base. 

Arnold, who entered the Air Force in November 1993, has been assigned to Wright-Patterson AFB since August 2014. Her background includes various duties in radio operations, information management, protocol, professional military education, and knowledge operations.

She has been stationed at locations in Illinois, the United Kingdom, Ohio, Washington, D.C., Hawaii, Honduras and the Azores. She is a distinguished graduate of Airman Leadership School, Noncommissioned Officers Academy and Senior Noncommissioned Officers Academy. 

"I am humbled by this opportunity and honored to serve the men and women of the 88th Air Base Wing," said Arnold. "I look forward to conquering challenges and highlighting the successes of our amazing military and civilian Airmen." 

As command chief, Arnold will represent more than 1,400 enlisted personnel assigned to the 88th Air Base Wing and will serve as the senior principle adviser to the 88 ABW commander on matters influencing the health, morale, welfare, and effective utilization of the wing's enlisted members. Arnold is scheduled to assume her new position April 6.
