AFMC to Host Freedom’s Call TATTOO Published June 5, 2015 By Brian Brackens 88th Air Base Wing Public Affairs WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- Air Force Materiel Command will host the 2015 Freedom's Call TATTOO June 26 on the grounds of the National Museum of the United States Air Force. The event will celebrate freedom and military aviation and will feature a variety of family- friendly events, including live entertainment from the Air Force Band of Flight, country music singer Kestin Howard, Central Ohio country rock band, McGuffey Lane, and local high school drumlines. There will be flyovers from a variety of aircraft including a C-17, T-38, T-1, T-6, and a Wright B flyer. The U.S. Air Force's Wings of Blue parachuting team out of the U.S. Air Force Academy will perform at the event as well. Guests can also look forward to the food vendors which will offer a variety of culinary delights. The gates open at 4 p.m. The event will conclude with a fireworks display starting at 10 p.m. Freedom's Call TATTOO is part of the weeklong Star-Spangled Celebration that include events held throughout the Miami Valley celebrating aviation and freedom.
