Holiday Cookie Drive Returning Published Nov. 17, 2015 By Amy Rollins Skywrighter WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- Cookie bakers who have a soft spot in their hearts for hungry unaccompanied Airmen will want to note Dec.2 on their calendars. That's when the 15th annual Airmen's Holiday Cookie Drive at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base will take place from 6 a.m. to noon at the Community and Airman Center (CAC), Bldg. 1222, Area A, Kittyhawk Center. There are two curbside drop-off locations for cookie donors' convenience: the CAC and Prairies Chapel, Bldg. 6568, 682 Chapel Lane, Area B. Drop-off at the chapel will be from 7 to 9 a.m. Donations should be emailed to Wrightpattcookies@yahoo.com. Any questions or offers to volunteer to box cookies can also be directed to their email. Bakers are asked to label cookie donations if they contain "no nuts" or "no gluten" so they can be included in boxes for Airmen with specific allergies - if possible, including a complete list of ingredients. All donations should be delivered in disposable packaging.
