Acquisition workshop registration deadline nears Published June 8, 2016 By 88th Air Base Wing Public Affairs WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- If you're looking for an opportunity to improve your acquisition knowledge and interface with senior Department of Defense and Air Force acquisition leaders, register now for the 2016 Acquisition Insight Days. Panel discussions and presentation will cover a wide range of acquisition, technology and logistic topics. This year's guest speaker lineup includes General Ellen Pawlikowski, Commander of Air Force Materiel Command, Terry Emmert, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (Materiel Readiness), Shay Assad, Director of Defense Pricing, Heidi Grant, Deputy Under Secretary of the Air Force for International Affairs and many others. The deadline to register is fast approaching and anyone interested in participating is encouraged to sign up no later than June 12. The event which is open to all active-duty military members and civil-service employees, will be hosted by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center and Defense Acquisition University, is June 14 - 15 on the campus of the Air Force Institute of Technology here and will be broadcast live and available to view through web streaming.
