Registration for the annual Museum Mile race is now open.

The Museum Mile is a family-friendly one-mile race held annually on the second Saturday of June at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. This event celebrates the spirit of athleticism in all its forms, welcoming runners, walkers, wheelchair users, and adaptive athletes. Strollers are also welcome.

“The Museum Mile is a great way for us to kickoff our local race season in anticipation of the Air Force Marathon,” said Chris Meister, Air Force Marathon director. “Whether you are an elite runner looking to set a personal record, or if you are just looking for a family-friendly event on Saturday morning, this is the event for you.”

All Museum Mile participants will receive a tote bag and native plant seed packet.

This year’s museum mile is scheduled for June 14. For event details and registration link visit usafmarathon.com and navigate to the Other Events tab for the link to the Museum Mile.
