Martin emphasized the importance of being an Airman leader by outlining an acronym symbolizing: attitude, integrity, resilience, management, accountability, and networking. He encouraged Class 25-B to embody these characteristics to be effective leaders. “When we think about each one of those letters being worthy of emulation, I just want to encourage you to take that and use it as something in your toolbox to help you. The ‘A’ helps with our influence. Integrity first as a bedrock to everything we do. Resilience because it’s inevitable that you’re going to be offended. Management because it’s inherent to leadership. Accountability, both punitive and mentorship, and the networking with all that;” Martin concluded. “If you remember nothing else about my speech, just know that Airmen deserve to be led well.” Graduates included Airmen, Guardians, and Coast Guardsmen from Air Force Materiel Command, Air Force Research Laboratories, 88th Air Base Wing, National Air and Space Intelligence Center, National Space Intelligence Center, Air National Guard, and the U.S. Coast Guard.
