88th Air Base Wing Security Forces to Hold Retirement Ceremony for Military Working Dog Published Oct. 30, 2024 By Rachael Ferguson 88 Air Base Wing Public Affairs WRIGHT PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- Wright Patterson Air Force Base will hold a Military Working Dog Retirement Ceremony in honor of Kerry at the Wright-Patt Club on November 4 at 1:00 p.m. Kerry was born on February 07, 2015, and entered Military Working Dog Training on October 21, 2016. He was assigned to the 88th Security Forces Squadron on Wright-Patt on October 1, 2017. Throughout his military service, Kerry conducted random anti-terrorism sweeps across Wright-Patterson AFB, executing over 3,000 random anti-terrorism measures, which included walking patrols, vehicle searches, and numerous other duty related jobs. He also supported the local community with over 50 demonstrations of the Military Working Dog operational capabilities.
