Base to celebrate 104th anniversary of first flight

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio --  A ceremony to celebrate the 104th anniversary of the Wright brothers' first flight will take place at the Wright Brothers Memorial here Dec. 17 at 10 a.m.

Col. Colleen Ryan, 88th Air Base Wing commander, will host the ceremony. Col. Anna M. Schulte, 445th Maintenance Group commander, will be the guest speaker.

A C-5 Galaxy will perform a flyover at 10:35 a.m. to end the ceremony.

The event is free and open to the public.
