The page, located at www.wpafb.af.mil/units/wpmc, officially went live Dec. 11 and can be quickly accessed via popular Web search engines. It replaces wpmc1.wpafb.af.mil, which will soon to be deactivated, 88th Medical Group officials said. The page features fact sheets and prominent links for clinic, pharmacy and TRICARE information. Users looking for clinic hours and contact information may want to start their search under the Clinics (A-M) and Clinics (N-Z) links located in the center of the page under the Patient Resources tab. Medical Center officials said while it's still possible to book appointments at many of the hospital's clinics by calling (937) 522-APPT (2778); however, it will be faster and easier to use www.tricareonline.com. "We encourage beneficiaries seeking care to use TRICARE Online to access medical information and book their appointments. If you need a password or have any questions concerning the on line service please contact Master Sgt. Haley, at (937) 904-2998, Staff Sgt. Alanis, at 257-0536, or Ms. Miller, at 257-0754," said Lt. Col. Mark White, 88th Medical Group administrator. Wright-Patterson Medical Center is one of the Air Force's largest medical treatment facilities and provides a full spectrum of medical services. More than 1,800 personnel assigned to the 88th Medical Group operate the medical center and serve an enrolled patient population of approximately 40,000 customers, including active duty personnel, family members, retired military members, TRICARE Plus members and eligible foreign nationals, White said.
