News Release: Early release due to weather

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- --  The Installation Commander has determined that the weather conditions warrant early release of all personnel from WPAFB effective at 1p.m. today. To facilitate the departure, the additional following gates will be open for exit only from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Area B National Road Gate (19B)

Area A & C Hospital Gate (9A)

Normal hours and operations will continue at the remaining gates.

Wright-Patterson Medical Center patients who have afternoon clinic appointments are being notified that clinics are closing for the remainder of the day. Patients with scheduled appointments who cannot be reached and arrive at the hospital will be seen. Scheduled afternoon surgical procedures for patients already in the hospital will not be cancelled. The Emergency Room will remain open.

Base-essential personnel will continue and report for duty as scheduled.
