Temporary closure of Beavervalley Road

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- Beavercreek officials have announced a road closure which may impact the commute of base employees who live in Greene County.

The City of Beavercreek has awarded a contract replace several culverts and stream bank stabilization along Beavervalley Road between New Germany-Trebien Road and the I-675 overpass. The roadway will be closed beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 12. The project is planned to take up to 30 days to complete. During this time, the roadway will be closed to traffic.

Commuters can anticipate the following recommended detour route to be posted: New Germany-Trebien Road to North Fairfield Road to Colonel Glenn Highway to Old Yellow Springs Road.
