Air Force officials have announced the key elements of this year's Air Force Materiel Command Tattoo event.

WHERE: National Museum of the U. S. Air Force, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio

WHEN: Friday, June 26, 2009

ADMISSION: Free and open to public

TIMELINE:
4:30 p.m. - Gates open
5 p.m. - Activities begin
8 p.m. - Program commences
9 p.m. - Aaron Tippin performs
10 p.m. - Fireworks

FEATURED ATTRACTIONS:
- Military aircraft flyovers, jump teams, ceremonial awards
- Local band, "This Side Up," U.S. Air Force Band of Flight, Country music's Aaron Tippin
- Technology Expo, dazzling fireworks
- Child-friendly playing area, food and beverage concessions (for sale)

ENTRY: Base ID holders use Gate 22B (I-675 or Colonel Glenn Highway); general public enter through gate at the intersection of Airway and Spinning Roads, NMUSAF museum entrance (Springfield Street) or Armory Gate (Harshman Road) in Riverside

PARKING*: On museum grounds as directed by security personnel. Handicapped parking is available. Parking prohibited at the Acquisition Complex or base soccer fields

*PARK 'N RIDE: Provided courtesy of RTA from parking lots 7, 8 and 20 at Wright State University's Nutter Center

PROHIBITED: Coolers, fireworks, backpacks, skateboards, in-line skates and glass bottles

ALLOWED: Strollers, infant diaper bags, cameras and cases, small purses and pocketbooks

EAGLE EYES: Be watchful. Report suspicious behavior or anything out of the ordinary to security personnel
