Jobs Fair Nov. 5 at Hope Hotel Published Nov. 3, 2009 By Derek Kaufman 88th Air Base Wing Public Affairs WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- As part of the ongoing "Year of the Air Force Family" celebration, base officials will hold a jobs fair for military affiliated families Thursday, Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hope Hotel here. The event is open to active duty and reserve military personnel from all branches, prior service veterans and retirees, DOD civilians, spouses and their children, said Alvin Dennis, community readiness technician with the base Airman and Family Readiness Center. "We have about 60 employers scheduled to attend this week," Dennis said. "The Airman and Family Readiness Center co-sponsors jobs fairs each April and November. We really appreciate the outstanding support of many sponsors and employers throughout the Miami Valley. Without their participation, we simply couldn't pull off such a great event."
