WPMC announces new H1N1 immunizations Published Dec. 28, 2009 By Lisa Kliebert-Witt 88th Medical Group WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- Wright-Patterson Medical Center officials have established a new schedule for H1N1 Influenza immunizations. The H1N1 immunization is now open to all including AD, dependents, retirees, Civil Service, and contract personnel. Individuals are encouraged to utilize one of the H1N1-dedicated shot lines listed below to avoid parking congestion at the Medical Center. Pediatric vaccine will be available at the Jan. 13 shot line but not at the shot lines on 5 and 6 Jan. All shot line times are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.: - Jan. 5, Air Force Institute of Technology - Jan. 6, Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command - Jan. 13, 88th Air Base Wing and other tenant units (at Bldg. 142) H1N1 vaccinations are also available at the Medical Center. The Allergy and Immunizations Clinic is open 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday except it is closed on New Years Day. Children 6 months to 18 years of age can also receive their H1N1 vaccine at the Pediatric Clinic during normal duty hours. Note seasonal flu shots are also available for all active duty and civil service personnel at WPMC Immunizations Clinic during normal duty hours and at the Occupational Medicine Clinic (Bldg. 675) on Wednesday afternoons between 1 and 3 p.m. Updates on vaccine supply and availability will be posted on the Wright-Patterson Medical Center webpage (www.wpafb.af.mil/units/wpmc) and via the Flu Hotline at (937) 904-3588.
