Combined Federal Campaign Kick-off 2010

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- The 2010 Miami Valley Combined Federal Campaign begins Wednesday, Oct. 6 with the Agency Fair and Kickoff event at the Ervin J. Nutter Center, 11 a.m. -1 p.m. The CFC campaign runs through Nov. 17. The theme for this year's campaign is, "Give Back Today...Pay It Forward Tomorrow."

What is sure to be the highlight of the day is the Dance Crew competition. Six "Dance Crews," will compete to see who will raise the most money for CFC. The "crews" consist of Federal employees from the base and surrounding community, and the competition begins at 11:15 a.m. and ends at 12:30 p.m.

This year's campaign goal is $2,700,000 for Wright-Patterson AFB and area Federal agencies combined, and it is the single largest goal in the history of the Miami Valley CFC. Local agencies will be on hand at the kickoff event to provide information about their services. All Federal employees are welcome to attend. Free hamburgers and drinks will be available.

The Nutter Center is on the campus of Wright State University at 3640 Colonel Glenn Highway, Fairborn.
